The Avenues Estate: A Contemporary Midlands Identity

From the outset, the vision has been to create a neighbourhood that complements its surroundings rather than dominating them. Rolling topography, indigenous vegetation, wetlands and established natural features have all informed the estate’s masterplan, with generous green spaces and walking routes woven throughout the development.

A carefully considered architectural design code provides cohesion across the estate while still allowing homeowners the freedom to express their own style. The Orchard and Meander neighbourhoods demonstrate how this balance has been achieved by pairing clean contemporary forms with handcrafted stonework, natural materials and indigenous landscaping that respond to both the climate and the character of the Midlands.

Homes are intentionally positioned to embrace views across the surrounding countryside, while generous glazing and seamless indoor-outdoor living strengthen the connection between architecture and landscape. Rather than relying on grandeur or excess, the homes derive their character from simplicity, craftsmanship and carefully chosen materials that will age gracefully over time.

Developed by JT Ross Property Group, The Avenues reflects a broad understanding that architecture is not simply about individual buildings, but about creating neighbourhoods with a lasting identity.
